Introduce your children to famous works of literature and improve their Russian language skills while immersing them in the magical world of the stage.

This program is not open for new enrollment at this time :(

How can it improve their Russian?

They memorize lines that otherwise would be too difficult and beyond their Russian vocabulary, often incorporating new phrases into their everyday language as a result. Parents report dramatic improvement of their children's Russian and a new interest in Russian culture.

How does it help their acting skills?

Students learn how to project their voices, create a stage presence and convey the subtleties of emotion. They learn how to “get into someone’s shoes” - skills, that might be very useful in life.

Any other benefits?

Most importantly, children learn how to work toward a shared goal and get a sense of accomplishment when they perform their play on a real stage at the end of the season. And what’s even more important, children love coming to theater lessons - many kids meet new friends there while “old friends” have cherished their friendships for years.

What ages can participate?

We run Advanced theater for 9-18 years, Junior for 6-11 years and Beginner for 5-7 years old students.

My teen likes theater, but is afraid to be on stage…

There is plenty of opportunities to help backstage - with scenery, costumes, light, curtain, tickets, and more.

Is enrollment ongoing?

Depending on a play, all the parts might be distributed - in this case you may need to wait till the next season. But sometimes we need additional actors - so always ask!
