Our school represents Russian piano teaching tradition that is famous for its high standards, solid technical skills and expressive, emotional interpretation.

Our teachers know how to guide a student step-by-step in order to establish correct habits that would allow the student to proceed with piano studies for years to come. What is even more important, it is each teacher's personal interest, involvement in each student's progress, close relationship between a student and a teacher.

The result is not only several "star students", who won competitions, performed in public recitals, including Carnegie Hall (NYC), and even admitted in highly competitive Precollege Division of Juilliard School in NYC, but also very high overall retention rate (less than 10% drop-out comparing to national 80-90% drop-out among beginners).

Additionally to the extraordinary private instruction, the Do-Re-Mi School is offering a variety of group music classes and performance opportunities, both competitive and non-competitive, such as our very own monthly informal event Saturday Piano Lounge, the Piano Teachers Society of America auditions, National Music Certificate Program exams, and Golden Key Piano Festival (those receiving gold medals play in Carnegie Hall).
